Workshop: Grateful and Grounded Kids
Audience: Parents of kids age 5-18
Format:
-
Keynote Kickoff Evening (2 hours)
-
4 Weeks of Pre-Work (Workbook)
-
4-Hour Workshop

Summary:
This Workshop is the best way to help a family develop a micro-economy in their homes that makes sense in the hearts and minds of the kiddos.

Keynote Evening
The Keynote is an entry point - an apportunity for parents to step back, evaluate their current reality, and consider the pre-work and full workshop. Even for those who choose not to continue, the evening will stand on its own, offering clear takeaways and practical tools they can immediately apply at home.

The session is designed to be both compelling and clarifying. It will surface the often unseen tensions shaping modern parenting, especially the subtle rise of entitlement, and provide a framework for addressing them. Parents will leave with a clearer understanding of what's at stake and a vision for how to build and implement thoughtful, actionable plans within their own households.

Pre-Work
Everyone who registers will receive a copy of both the book and companion workbook.

The experience includes four weeks of pre-work designed to help parents step back and evaluate the culture of their home. This process surfaces the specific dynamics, tensions, and patterns they are facing, creating clarity that will make the in-person workshop far more productive and personalized.

The Workshop
The workshop is a focused, four-hour working session. We begin with a concise review of the key concepts from the pre-work, then shift quickly into application, helping each family translate their reflections into clear, customized plans. These plans are built into clean, digital documents specific to each household and ready for implementation in the home.

A key part of the workshop is developing a practical "Rollout Plan." Families will identify where friction or resistance is most likely to surface and think ahead about how to respond with clarity and consistency. This reduces guesswork in the moment and helps parents lead with confidence rather than reaction.

Every family will leave with two things on each of the three topics: a clearly defined household plan and a thoughtful rollout and timing strategy they can refine over time. Two weeks later, I'll host a follow-up Zoom session to help families assess what's working troubleshoot challenges, and reinforce early wins.
